As we all continue with altered work/school/life schedules, Adobe is releasing another update to their LMS, Adobe Learning Manager. This is the February 2021 release and is the 60th release for this product. This release focuses on continued improvements to the Learner Experience, as well as adding new Reports and streamlining the Administrative workflow.
Here are a few of the areas that have updates in this release:
Social Learning
The learner can now see all boards in a list view, instead of scrolling down to find particular boards.
Catalog Navigation
A new filter has been added so that the learner can now search by training type. This includes Classroom, Self-Paced, or Virtual Classroom. The Learner can also search by duration of content now, as well.
Reporting Enhancements
There is a new report added called Training Report. This allows Administrators to create reports that detail training and include metadata like skills, author, labels, tags, number of enrollments, and average feedback score. Admins can also customize the columns that are exported in a Learner Transcript report.
Learning Plans
There is a new trigger option for the Learning Plan section that can be chosen by the Admin. The new option, Learner gets Removed from a Group, will allow you to manage what happens when a learner removed from any User Group in the system.
Data Retention
Captivate Prime will be updating how long imported CSV files using Box/FTP Folders will be retained. It has been reduced down to 7 days after an import is completed.
